TESTIMONIES
At the beginning of my journey as a business student at Politeknik Brunei, I was very inexperienced in a lot of areas such as presentation skills, communications skills, report writing, leadership and creativity. To be able to work efficiently and effectively, these skills are essential to get the best results, which at that time I did not have. However, as my time prolonged at this institution, I had learnt more about business and was able to attain these skills, not just to be a better student but a better individual that will contribute to our society in the future. This was possible through the assessments, opportunities and the guidance from the lecturers at Politeknik Brunei. These experiences have led me out of my comfort zone and expanded my horizon beyond what I thought was possible when I joined this institution, and for that, I am forever grateful during my time at Politeknik Brunei.

I live in a business-minded family. My father is a businessman and my mother helps him a lot with the daily operations of the business. I have been exposed to the “reality” of the business world since I was a child. Sure you can run, manage and own a business with only experience, but in this modern world, aligning ourselves with the proper knowledge would be an advantage. That is why choosing a Diploma in Business Studies (Entrepreneurship) programme in Politeknik Brunei to be my academic path was the first step to achieving the right goals and visions of myself to be a skilled person. The journey might be tough, but sure it will be worth it.
