6 June 2026 – Cg Hazirah from the School of Science and Engineering (SSE), Politeknik Brunei (PB), represented Brunei Darussalam in the Hybrid Regional Training on the Greening Education Readiness Index (GERI), organised by SEAMEO VOCTECH in collaboration with GIZ-RECOTwin.
The programme brought together participants from all 11 SEAMEO Member Countries to strengthen evidence-based approaches towards greening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) through regional collaboration, knowledge exchange and sustainable innovation. The training provided participants with insights into the application of GERI in assessing and strengthening green education practices within TVET institutions. The participation also supported Brunei Darussalam’s preparation for the pilot implementation of GERI across selected TVET institutions, contributing to efforts to enhance green education, promote sustainable practices and support the aspirations of Wawasan Brunei 2035.
