7 – 9 July 2026 – Politeknik Brunei (PB) welcomed a total of 894 new students for its 16th Intake, marking the commencement of a new academic journey for students enrolled in 24 Level 5 Diploma programmes. The intake introduced three new programmes, namely the Level 5 Diploma in Plant Engineering, Level 5 Diploma in Digital Solutions, and Level 5 Diploma in Business and Tourism Management, providing additional pathways for students to develop industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
The 16th Intake also marked the first cohort to undertake the new Green and Digital Literacy for Sustainability (GDLS) core module, which was introduced to equip students with greater awareness and competencies in sustainability and digital responsibility. The commencement of the intake was marked by a Student Pledge led by Yang Mulia Abdul Muhamad Muzaffar bin Ahmad Saufi, a student of the Level 5 Diploma in Human Capital Management from the School of Business (SBS), symbolising the commitment and responsibility of the institution’s newest students as they embarked on their academic journey at Politeknik Brunei.
