12 to 17 January 2026 – Politeknik Brunei (PB) officially welcomed 402 new students with the commencement of its Orientation Week for the 15th Intake, January 2026 Session, for the Academic Year 2025/2026.

The intake comprises 203 male and 199 female students, all set to embark on their academic journey at PB. The launch event marked a significant milestone, introducing the incoming cohort to the institution’s academic environment and community values.

The ceremony began with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the recitation of prayers. The event continued with an opening address delivered by the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Pengiran Dr Saiful Baharin Bin Pengiran Haji Duraman, Acting Director of Politeknik Brunei.

As part of the programme, the Guest of Honour witnessed the pledge recitation by the new students, led by Kaseh Ikhwan Afif Jazimin Bin Muhammad Rosdi, a Level 5 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering student, alongside 18 student representatives.

Throughout the week, students will participate in a range of engaging activities, including motivational talks, an alumni sharing session, and guided campus tours designed to familiarise them with the institution’s facilities and resources.

The ceremony set a reflective and inspiring tone, marking not only the beginning of a new academic chapter but also reinforcing the values of unity, purpose, and personal growth within the PB community.

Politeknik Brunei extends its warmest welcome to all new students and encourages them to embrace the opportunities ahead—fostering resilience, building meaningful connections, and striving for excellence throughout their academic journey.
