12 & 14 February 2026 – Politeknik Brunei (PB) successfully held its Open Day 2026 at the One Stop Centre, Main Campus, Jalan Ong Sum Ping, from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM. The event highlighted a wide range of academic programmes offered across its five schools: the School of Business (SBS), School of Information and Communication Technology (SICT), School of Science and Engineering (SSE), School of Petrochemical (SPC), and School of Health Sciences (SHS).

Organised in conjunction with the first intake for the Academic Year 2026/2027, the Open Day aimed to engage prospective students who are expected to commence their studies in July 2026. The event was scheduled over two days, on 12 February and 14 February 2026.

The Open Day commenced with an opening ceremony at 8.15 AM at the PB Main Campus. The ceremony was attended by heads of divisions and schools, along with Politeknik Brunei staff, and was officially launched by the Acting Registrar of Politeknik Brunei, Yang Mulia Dayang Noor Adyani binti Haji Adanan.

The event provided an opportunity for the public—particularly ‘O’ Level graduates—to gain insights into admission procedures, explore campus facilities, and learn more about the programmes offered. Visitors also had the chance to interact directly with academic staff from various schools, enabling a better understanding of available educational pathways.

For the 16th Intake, Academic Year 2026/2027 (July 2026 session), Politeknik Brunei is offering a total of 23 Level 5 Diploma programmes across its five schools. Notably, three new programmes are being introduced for the first time: the Level 5 Diploma in Business and Tourism Management, the Level 5 Diploma in Digital Solutions, and the Level 5 Diploma in Plant Engineering. Each programme is designed with a study duration of two and a half (2.5) years.

Politeknik Brunei remains committed to providing quality, industry-relevant education and looks forward to welcoming a new cohort of students in the upcoming academic year.
