The Diploma in Cybersecurity programme is designed to address the increasing need for skilled professionals capable of safeguarding digital systems and information in today’s interconnected world. As organizations in both public and private sectors face growing threats from cyberattacks, data breaches,  and  digital crimes, the demand for cybersecurity expertise has never been greater. Through a blend of technical knowledge, hands-on practice, and industry exposure, students will be prepared to identify vulnerabilities,  mitigate  risks,  and implement effective security measures. The diploma also nurtures professional competencies, including project management, communication, and ethical responsibility, enabling graduates to contribute effectively to securing Brunei Darussalam’s digital future and to pursue global career opportunities in the cybersecurity field.

Aim:

To equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to secure computer systems, networks, and digital environments, in alignment with  industry  standards  and  Brunei  Darussalam’s  digital  transformation vision.

Objectives

1. To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and emerging technologies.
2. To develop technical proficiency in system, network, and application security through hands-on learning.
3. To instill professional, ethical, and legal awareness in handling cybersecurity challenges.
4. To nurture problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills for real-world security threats.
5. To prepare graduates for immediate employment in the cybersecurity sector or for further study in related fields.

Graduates of this programme will be able to:
