Introduction

The main focus of the ICT Department is the provisioning of ICT-related services and facilities for the efficiency of Politeknik Brunei.

ICTD functions include:

• Monitoring of network usage across the campus
• Implementing standards and procedures pertaining to the usage of ICT throughout the campu
• Providing support and maintenance of hardware and software for all departments and schools under Politeknik Brunei
• Planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating of ICT infrastructure of Politeknik Brunei
• Printing staff and student access cards
• Documenting government tender processes
• Providing front-line support for specific IT services
• Coordinating and responding to any IT-related issues / problems
• Managing Politeknik Brunei website, EIS and e-mail services
• Maintaining the computer laboratories of the campus
