Introduction
The main focus of the ICT Department is the provisioning of ICT-related services and facilities for the efficiency of Politeknik Brunei.
ICTD functions include:
- Monitoring of network usage across the campus
- Implementing standards and procedures pertaining to the usage of ICT throughout the campu
- Providing support and maintenance of hardware and software for all departments and schools under Politeknik Brunei
- Planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating of ICT infrastructure of Politeknik Brunei
- Printing staff and student access cards
- Documenting government tender processes
- Providing front-line support for specific IT services
- Coordinating and responding to any IT-related issues / problems
- Managing Politeknik Brunei website, EIS and e-mail services
- Maintaining the computer laboratories of the campus
