The programme is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and experiences that will enable the candidates to carry out prescribed dental treatments to the general public. Throughout the course, candidates will be trained to handle both children and adults, and they will be working by the role and function specified by the Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam.
On successful completion of the course, the candidate will be eligible to apply for the government post of Jururawat (Bidang Pergigian) Division III with a salary scale of M.7-8 EB.9.
In the Government Dental Services, they can work in:-
- Hospitals, Health Centres and Schools
- Community Dental Clinics
- Oral Health Promotion and Education Unit (OHP)
- Teaching, Research and Management unit
- Public Health Dentistry including Epidemiology and Biostatistics (R&D)
