13 September 2025 – The Beyond Borders: KL Study Trip Sharing Session was held at PAPRSB IHS, UBD, bringing together students and lecturers from the Schools of Politeknik Brunei. Co-organized by the Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) and Public Health (PH) students of the School of Health Sciences, the session provided a platform to share insights, experiences, and learnings from their educational trip to Kuala Lumpur, which took place from 14th to 21st June 2025.
The session began with welcoming remarks by YM Dyg Siti Norfuadahlia bte Hj Sharbini, Group Coordinator of the CVT Program, followed by two engaging presentations.
The CVT students shared their experiences visiting Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL), Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, and the Cardiothoracic & Cardiology Centre Serdang. Meanwhile, the Public Health group highlighted their visits to the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office, Ministry of Health (MoH) Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), PJ Recycling Centre, and Fasiliti Inovasi Kitar Semula (FIKS). Both groups also visited the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in Putrajaya and Management and Science University (MSU), Shah Alam.
The session featured interactive quizzes to engage participants and the presentation of tokens of appreciation to acknowledge the efforts of those who contributed to the success of both the trip and the sharing session. It concluded with closing remarks by YM Dyg Siti Jusrina binti Juma’at, Program Leader for Diploma in Health Sciences (Public Health).
