The School of Business (SBS) and the School of Information Communication and Technology (SICT) at Politeknik Brunei proudly present the Final Year Project Exhibition — a dynamic showcase of student innovation, creativity, and real-world problem-solving.
ECOLENS leads this year’s event, featuring 55 student groups exploring sustainability through digital innovation. With the theme “Creative Voices for a Greener Planet,” the exhibition brings together fresh perspectives, compelling narratives, and forward-thinking solutions — all expressed through the lens of creativity.
Held on 21st and 22nd May 2025 at the Lifelong Learning Centre (L3C) Multipurpose Hall in Lambak Kanan, the exhibition highlights a wide range of projects focused on environmental sustainability.
The event was officiated by Yang Mulia Adna Shatriremie bin Haji A. Abdul Rahman, Head of the Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre, as the Guest of Honour. A welcoming address was delivered by Mr. Tan Szu Tak, Head of SICT. Also in attendance were senior officials, lecturers, students from both SBS and SICT, and industry partners — all showing strong support for student-led solutions aimed at a more sustainable future.
A key feature of the exhibition is the work by students from the Digital Media programme, showcased under the ECOLENS brand. They present a variety of media — including short films, documentaries, marketing campaigns, and interactive experiences — each addressing critical environmental issues and promoting eco-conscious values.
Additionally, final-year projects from both schools cover sustainable products and services, as well as digital solutions such as apps and websites designed to tackle environmental challenges and meet real-world needs. These initiatives reflect the increasing importance of integrating sustainability into both business models and technological innovation.
This two-day event offers a valuable platform for dialogue between students, educators, industry professionals, and the public. It’s an opportunity to discover how emerging talent is harnessing innovation to address global issues and shape a greener tomorrow.
