On 4th July 2025, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn. Bhd. recently hosted 26 staff and students from Politeknik Brunei’s School of Petrochemical and School of Science and Engineering for a tour of its petrochemical facility. During the educational visit, participants learned about BMC’s methanol plant operations—from production to export—bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry experience in an operational setting. The visit provided an active learning experience, reinforcing previously acquired knowledge and fostering a deeper understanding of the methanol industry.

It also demonstrated BMC’s unwavering commitment to Brunei Darussalam’s Wawasan 2035 by cultivating critical thinking skills and engaging learners in this diverse sector. Politeknik Brunei extends its sincere appreciation to Brunei Methanol Company for their warm hospitality, for sharing best practices within the industry, and for providing students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
