14 June to 21 June 2025 – A delegation from Politeknik Brunei, comprising passionate students and dedicated lecturers from the Public Health and Cardiovascular Technology programmes, accompanied by Ministry of Health officials, is embarking on a transformative educational journey to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Led by Acting Principal Dayang Hajah Armah binti Tengah, this visit reflects Politeknik Brunei’s unwavering commitment to nurturing global-ready graduates through academic excellence, strategic partnerships, and visionary leadership—aligned with Politeknik Brunei’s Five-Year Development Plan 2021–2025, the Ministry of Education Strategic Plan 2023–2027 and Wawasan Brunei 2035.

Key engagements included academic exchanges at Management and Science University (MSU), in line with an existing MoU, and a courtesy visit to the Brunei High Commission, where students gained insights into career prospects in Malaysia. The Public Health team visited the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the WHO Office to explore regional public health efforts, while the Cardiovascular Technology group toured top cardiac centres like IJN and Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur.

Upcoming visits include Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and leading clinical centres, focusing on academic partnerships and advanced healthcare exposure. This initiative enhances curriculum relevance, supports student development, and opens pathways for internships and degree progression, strengthening Politeknik Brunei’s global health education footprint.
