PB Students Win Runner-Up at IPTC 2025

Md Danish Syahmi Abdullah Md Nasrun and Nur’ain Nikmatol Qistina Wedy Hasfian’s group won the Runner-Up Prize at the IPTC 2025 Energy Education University Student Programme in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for their presentation on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS). Their well-received presentation showcased their ability to analyze and propose innovative solutions to a key global energy challenge.

Held from February 17–20, 2025, the programme provided participants with valuable industry exposure, networking opportunities, and insights from leading professionals. Students engaged in dialogue sessions, discussions, and collaborative group presentations focused on current issues and advancements in the petroleum sector.

As part of this initiative, the two Diploma in Petroleum Engineering students gained first-hand experience in industry trends and connected with potential employers. Their success highlights their dedication, technical expertise, and potential as future leaders in the energy industry.
