Nurul Hasyimah binti Haji Metussin, a holder of Level 5 Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the PB School of Science and Engineering, was overjoyed after her name was announced for the Best Student Award. She said one of her most memorable experiences during her studies was participating in the Student Representative Council, where students’ personality and morals are shaped to become intelligent and polite people.

“Alhamdulillah, PB provided exposure and opportunity during our six-month temporary work placements,” she said.

“I had the opportunity to become an apprentice at the Science Technology and Environment Partnership Centre (STEP Centre). “

“Among the valuable experiences during my temporary work placement was being an instructor for two programmes run by the STEP Centre; namely F1 in School and Steam for Future in the field of engineering for secondary school students.”
