More than 800 new students of the 9th intake of the 2019/2020 Politeknik Brunei academic session were introduced to various programmes and study system known as Blended Teaching and Learning used by the institute during the Orientation Week which is currently being held.
During the orientation week, the students were briefed on Registration and Examination, Government Scholarships, Enrichment Programmes, Financial Services and academic matters as well as leadership activities and teamwork. Also present was Awang Denis Ho Mun Tai, Director of Politeknik Brunei.
This year, the Health Sciences School is offering a new Diploma Programme on dental therapy and cleaning. The programme is conducted in collaboration with the Dental Services Department, Ministry of Health. The Health Science Programme aimed to enhance the professional image of nursing, midwifery, paramedics and dentistry from the aspects of service quality, skills, expertise and competency in the 21st century.
